О программе

The curriculum of the double degree Master Program is designed to expand students’ in-depth knowledge in Physics, Nanotechnologies, and Material Sciences. During their second semester students may choose from the three majors: Biomedical Applications, Optics and Photonics, Industry Applications.
The Master program serves as a platform for students to take part in implementation of interdisciplinary projects.

Within the course the students will learn how to operate modern equipment, use computer methods. They will gain real-life job experience under the mentoring of a professor, this will help them to learn how to manage and organize the work of an interdisciplinary team.
Professors of the program are internationally recognized experts who have extensive experience in teaching.

The program courses also provide great networking opportunities. The students will have a chance to get acquainted with leading experts in different areas of knowledge, thus gaining additional job opportunities.

Students of the program will get a Russian Federation state-approved degree of M.Sc. in Physics at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. Additionally, the students will have an opportunity to receive a second degree — M.Sc. in Nanotechnology of Gdansk University of Technology (GTU).
