Course Overview

The programme curriculum includes many courses devoted to the study of biological processes in a human body; signs and symptoms of diseases and their prevention and treatment; as well as skills and techniques required for provision od medical care. Students study over 70 disciplines including biology, biochemistry, anatomy, histology, normal physiology, pharmacology, obstetrics and gynecology, therapy, surgery, pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry, rehabilitation and others. The programme is taught in English.

All internships are held at the main clinical hospitals and health care institutions of the Kaliningrad region, as well as at University clinics of the University of Lübeck (Germany) and Klaipeda University (Lithuania). The training is carried out in different formats like solving tasks in diagnosis, treatment, medical rehabilitation and prevention, as well as participation in professional competitions which allow the students to build a path for your professional development and find useful contacts for career growth.

Summer Courses
Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University welcomes all interested applicants to accelerated subject courses, which will prepare students for the university-conducted entrance tests. In addition to these fast-paced classes, IKBFU also maintains long-term preparatory courses. From October to May, the offered classes prepare those interested for the Unified State Exam (ЕГЭ), honing an excellent grasp of the main school subjects.
