If you do not have any of the mentioned documents upon arrival, you will have to get them in Kaliningrad at your own expense |

NOTIFY Immediately after checking in at the dormitory or a private address, send an email to internationalstudent@kantiana.ru or DM International students IKBFU and let us know that you have settled in |

VISIT If it is your first time at IKBFU, visit the International Office on the first working day after arrival |

MIGRATION REGISTRATION After arrival, you must immediately send photos or scans of all pages of your passport and migration card to Visa and Migration Support Centre for migration registration (for those living in a dormitory) or get registered at a private address ourself within the first week |
In accordance with a new Federal Law, every foreign citizen arriving to Russia for more than 90 calendar days is required to undergo a medical examination and have their fingerprints and photos taken. Do that within 60 days after your arrival in Russia!
Without this procedure, it will not be possible to extend a period of stay in the Russian Federation and you would have to go back to your country
This procedure is OBLIGATORY FOR ALL international students REGARDLESS of place of residence (dormitory or private address), except in cases when a student has a temporary resident permit or residence permit
The cost of a medical examination is about 9,500 ₽. In order to extend the period of temporary stay and undergo the abovementioned procedures, each international student must DM International students IKBFU NO LATER than 60 days from the date of the entry into Russia. Learn more
