5 IKBFU Researchers Declared World's Top 2% Scientists

Stanford University has published its annual ranking of the "World's Top 2% Scientists", representing the most influential researchers in a wide range of scientific fields. It is based on Scopus data and serves as a powerful tool for identifying the world's scientific leaders.

The list of the world's leading researchers includes five IKBFU academics: Mikhail Krasavin, Artem Astashenok, Alexander Khramov, Anatoly Snigirev, and Vitaly Alekseev.

Artem Astashenok, Head of the IKBFU Laboratory of Astrophysics and Cosmology:
The papers devoted to modelling of compact relativistic stars in modified gravity received special attention from colleagues. In the light of the discovery of cosmological acceleration, possible deviations of real gravity from Einstein's general theory of relativity are being considered. These deviations could hypothetically appear for neutron stars or white dwarfs. It is always a pleasure to have your work recognised and cited. This suggests that the topic is of interest to the scientific community. Of course, one should not absolutise citation figures, Hirsch index and other statistical indicators; first of all, I would like to see my theories proved.
