All-Russian Media Forum of Students, “Mind Games”, Took Place in Makhachkala

All-Russian Media Forum of Students, “Mind Games”, took place in Makhachkala on November 25 to 27, 2022.

A student of Higher School of Media and Design, Alexandra Svistunova, took part in the event.

Alexandra’s team had been attending workshops and vigorously struggling to compete for three days. During the forum they created their own brand and were promoting it via VK, Telegram, and Yandex.Zen. The team managed to gain 2500 subscribers. Their work was recognised as one of the strongest by Ekaterina Kvashenkina, director of thematic projects at Shkulev Media Holding. All team members also received personal internship invitations.

The forum was intense. We were constantly into generating ideas and content. We filmed, edited, wrote, and published around the clock. The result turned out to be worthwhile. It is nice that we were recognised and invited to an internship; now we are looking for convenient dates and participation in major projects of Shkulev Media Holding.

This is the second year for the forum; the aim of the event is to promote and develop student SMM. The theme of the year was the preservation of historical truth. It was organised by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science with methodological support from the Russian Historical Society.
