Researchers from the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in collaboration with scientists from the Medical University of Plovdiv (Bulgaria) identified neural networks responsible for the onset of paranoia and depression. The findings have the potential to revolutionise diagnosis by using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scans instead of relying solely on questionnaires.
While existing questionnaires provide valuable insights, they can be subjective. Using fRMI alongside these tools, we can move towards a more objective approach. |
