Centre for Russian Pedagogy Opens in India

As part of the XII International Conference on Educational Development "Managing Change: Professional Education in a Rapidly Evolving World" the Centre for Russian Pedagogy was established at the Partap College of Education. Rectors and representatives of several Indian universities attended the opening. Anna Budarina, Head of the Institute of Education and Humanities represented IKBFU.

Alexander Fedorov, IKBFU Rector, addressed the audience:

It’s a great honour for me to celebrate the opening of the Centre for Russian Pedagogy, brought to life through the combined efforts of the Baltic Federal University and the Partap College of Education. Today the year-long academic dialogue between our institutions culminates in the Centre, unlocking a treasure trove of Russia's unique pedagogical heritage. The Centre is a platform for sharing Russian educational practices, knowledge, educational materials and popular science resources. IKBFU professors are eager to share their teaching expertise and traditions of our University.

The opening of the Centre was extensively covered by Indian TV news channels. The launch of the Centre will be covered in several national Indian newspapers.
