The IKBFU Admissions Office reports an increase in interest during the 2025 admission campaign. In just ten days, the University received 8,030 applications — nearly double the number from the same time period in 2024 (4,440). The number of individual applicants has also grown significantly, with 2,219 people applying so far, compared to 1,217 in 2024.
Applications are submitted either online via the Gosuslugi superservice or in person at the university's Admissions Office. Prospective students come from almost every region of Russia, with leading numbers from the Kaliningrad Region, Moscow Region, the Far East, and Central Russia. Additionally, 116 international applicants have already submitted documents, including citizens of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, China, Morocco, and Turkey.
Many of the early applicants have distinguished themselves through exceptional academic performance. Among them are two winners of the All-Russian Olympiad, 32 applicants with a perfect score in one Unified State Exam subject, two with perfect scores in two subjects, and 27 who scored 270 or more points across three subjects. These high-achieving students will be eligible for an enhanced monthly scholarship during their first semester.

The first days of this year’s admission campaign have been truly encouraging. We are witnessing strong interest in our academic programs from applicants across Russia and internationally. I believe this could be linked to the nearing completion of our world-class campus. The first dormitory, which will accommodate nearly 900 students, is set to open this year. We are pleased to welcome high-achieving applicants who show genuine motivation to study at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. |
