A delegation from the Institute of Education and Humanities at Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University visited India on a working visit. As part of the Memorandum of Cooperation with Partap College of Education (Ludhiana), Kaliningrad experts took part in the scientific and practical conference "Professional Teacher Training in a Global Context," organized by the International Association for Professional Development in collaboration with Partap College of Education.
The Head of the Institute of Education and Humanities at IKBFU, Professor Anna Budarina, presented a new Russian model of teacher training to foreign colleagues, which is being developed as part of a pilot project to change the levels of higher education in Russia. The presentation focused on the transformation of the teacher profession in today's context.
Olesya Parakhina, Deputy Head for Development, emphasized the importance of technological advancements in education. She discussed the use of AI platforms, the practical-oriented STEAM approach, and the modern mentorship system.
The representatives of IKBFU also served as experts in evaluating poster presentations at the student section dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence in teacher training.
The experts conducted a series of lectures and workshops for students and staff at Sharda University (Greater Noida, India). Vice-Chancellor of Sharda University, Sibaram Khara, will pay an official visit to IKBFU and participate in the plenary session of the XXVI International Congress "Sustainable Development of Education: Mission. Transformation. Resources," organized by the ESC “Institute of Education and Humanities”.
