Governor Alexey Besprozvannykh: “Campus of IKBFU “Kantiana” — One of the Best in the Country”

Governor of the Kaliningrad region, Alexey Besprozvannykh, on live streaming from the National Center “Russia”, which was held in Moscow, said that he considers IKBFU campus one of the best in the country. Responding to questions from the audience, the governor noted his son plans to study at IKBFU.

The governor remembered the time after moving to Kaliningrad, he asked his son which university region he would like to attend.

Thought he would say to Moscow or Saint-Petersburg, and he replied: “No, you promised that you will finish the construction of the university. Here is where i want to study...” ,

Responding to a question from the audience about what the Kaliningrad region can offer young people and why it is necessary to move to the westernmost region, the governor noted that education at world-class campus is one of the main reasons. The governor has named Kaliningrad ideal region for moving to permanent residence.

Why go somewhere when the sea is 30 minutes away and the education takes place in the walls of a world-class campus? Here will be very comfortable conditions. We are working together with the Higher Schools on the faculty, opening new departments together with business. I am convinced that everyone will find for themselves a direction where they want to study,
said the governor.

It should be noted that the construction of the campus is being carried out within the framework of the National Project “Youth and children”, and it’s opening is planned in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Kaliningrad region, in 2026.
