Pavel Feduraev, Head of the IKBFU Institute of Medicine and Life Sciences: |
Our improvement is not a matter of sudden luck, but the result of the systematic, consistent and persistent efforts of our colleagues. The importance of quantitative criteria, such as the total number of publications, is equal to that of qualitative ones, namely the creation of a pool of highly relevant and, through this, highly cited research. Another important factor is the strong cooperative ties between industry and the academic community, ensuring targeted requests for practice-oriented research that stimulate the development of new technologies. I am convinced that, in the context of the University's general advancement, our standing in this and other rankings will only improve. |
