The Laboratory for medical analysis will be opened in the campus “Kantiana” of IKBFU in partnership with LLC “ArsMedica”. The corresponding agreement was signed by CEO Pavel Paliy and Rector of the University Maxim Demin on 8 December.
In the laboratory medical students will be able to practice the full laboratory cycle. The training class will be equipped with hematological and biochemical analyzers to model errors and visualize the correct stage of sampling — this is an essential process of preparing biomaterials before conducting studies, according to the results of which patients are diagnosed with diseases and prescribed treatment.
We thank the company “ArsMedia” for effective and productive cooperation not only in the field of education and science, but also creation of spaces. Today the “filling” of the campus, which is being built within the framework of the national project “Youth and children”, is a key task for us. I am sure that the design of laboratories and training halls together with partners is a factor for leading development in achieving technological sovereignty. So, we open in the new campus the scientific center for chemistry with LLC “Renera”, space laboratory with EDB “FAKEL”, design spaces with “1S-Bitrix” and “Alpha-Bank”. Thus, industry and employers become full participants, co-authors not only of the educational process — they together with us form an image of a successful graduate, ready to quickly enter into the technological agenda,

As noted by Pavel Paliy, similar training classes of laboratory medicine are opened in the universities of Belarus — in specialized medical universities of Minsk, Gomel and Grodno.
It should be noted that the agreement signed by the parties is also aimed at training highly qualified specialists ready to solve urgent tasks of the medical industry.
The laboratory will allow students to work with real technological equipment and get practical skills. The effectiveness of this approach is obvious: you can hear a thousand times the theory, but once try it with your own hands — everything immediately becomes clear. This is where future doctors and paramedics will be trained. This is not the first time we have implemented a similar project, which demonstrates the successful integration of science, education and business, opens up new possibilities for science and is already being actively used,
noted Paul Paliy.
Pavel Fedurayev, Head of ESC “Institute of Medicine and Life Sciences”:
Cooperation with one of the regional health leaders “Ars Medica” is a strategic step takes our interaction to a qualitatively new level. The specific benefits for the university are obvious: our medical students will have access not only to modern equipment, but also methodological tools of clinical diagnostics. This is a direct embodiment of the university approach — integration of education, science and innovation. In such an effective link, we do not just give theory, but form the competencies required on the labor market.
The signing of the agreement is an important step in the large and consistent work that IKBFU is leading in recent years for development of partnerships with industry and business structures. The aim of this cooperation is to ensure a deeper integration of science and practice, improve the quality of educational programs, as well as expand opportunities for joint research, internships and practical training of students.
For reference:
The “ArsMedica” polyclinic is one of the most modern medical institutions in Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad region. Combining advanced medical technologies with many years of experience in classical medicine, the clinic actively uses innovative INVITRO laboratory tests, ultrasound and functional diagnostics in its work. “ArsMedica” doctors provide high-quality care in various fields — cardiology, urology, gynecology, therapy, surgery, neurology, dermatology, endocrinology and others.
