| Daria Gerber: |
| We were pleasantly surprised by how much we have in common with colleagues from the University of Eastern Sarajevo — academically and scientifically. During the first meeting, it was possible to identify specific areas of cooperation. Colleagues are working now on the construction of a carbon polygon, and IKBFU has rich scientific and applied expertise in this field. We gladly offered to share our experience and invited partners to visit the carbon polygon “Rosyanka”. |
The main outcome of the meeting was the preliminary signing of a memorandum of mutual understanding, which laid the foundation for the development of sustainable partnerships and joint educational and scientific projects.
In continuation of the visit, Daria Gerber and Ksenia Skryabin gave a presentation about IKBFU for students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Eastern Sarajevo. Participants were briefed on opportunities for academic exchanges, internships and professional development programs. Employees of the Russian House Georgy Engelgardt and Yulia Khakimova presented information about scholarships of the Government of the Russian Federation, allowing foreign citizens to get free higher education in Russia.
