For the third year in a row, students of the Higher School of Linguistics of the IKBFU, who study Swedish as a second foreign language, confirm their high level of preparation at the International Olympiad Svenska steg för steg ("Swedish step by step"). The event took place at the end of March at the site of the Northern (Arctic) Lomonosov Moscow State University.
This year, the intellectual competition brought Kaliningrad a complete victory: IKBFU students took the entire podium at the A2/B1 level, taking all three prizes.
The competition was serious: 77 applications were received from leading universities in Russia and Belarus, including St. Petersburg State University, Moscow State Linguistic University, PetrSU and BSU. The Olympiad traditionally serves as a platform for the development of cooperation between students and teachers of universities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the field of teaching the Swedish language.
