IKBFU has participated in the educational exhibition “Universities of Russia — the Best Choice”, which was held in Hanoi from 15 to 19 December.
Representatives of the leading Russian universities —IKBFU, Moscow Aviation Institute, N. A. Dobrolyubova State Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russian University of Transport, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Tomsk Polytechnic University — spoke about the specifics of the Russian educational system during the event. The delegations made presentations to Vietnamese schoolchildren and students, telling potential applicants about the possibilities of studying in Russia, promising areas of training and study programs.
At the stand of IKBFU experts spoke about the possibilities of a federal university, the specifics of living in the westernmost region of the Russian Federation, the construction of a world-class campus in Kaliningrad and the participation of the university in a pilot project.
As part of the visit, representatives of IKBFU visited the Russian House in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, specialized high schools for gifted children (Byen Hoa Special School, Le Hong Fong Special School, Vietnam National University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University).
| It is nice to see the warmth with which we are greeted by Vietnamese schoolchildren and students, and, in general, Vietnamese. Schoolchildren and students listened with interest to our presentations and were genuinely interested in learning opportunities of education in Russia. Throughout our rich program of activities, we have seen that the Vietnamese side is extremely interested in strengthening cooperation with Russian higher education institutions not only within the framework of student exchanges and training of new personnel for Vietnam, but also in the form of exchange of professional knowledge and further training of our lecturers. This week was, without a doubt, fruitful for all the universities participating in the exhibition.
