IKBFU Ranked 13th in Russia's Digital Reputation Ranking

mmanuel Kant Baltic Federal University has been ranked 13th in the 2026 digital reputation ranking of Russia's federal and state universities, compiled by the PressIndex analytical agency.

he ranking, which covers July 2025 to June 2026, doesn't just count how often a university appears in the news. It also looks at the quality of that coverage: media presence, reputational image, interest among applicants, media authority, and the effectiveness of official communications.

According to the analysts' data, IKBFU has demonstrated a strong presence in the digital environment over the past year:

Media presence: IKBFU was mentioned 16,600 times in the media, while on social media, users posted about the university 55,700 times — reaching over 58.6 million people in total.
Reputational image: More than a quarter of all coverage — 26.28 per cent — is distinctly positive.
Media performance: A high level of engagement was recorded across the university's official social media channels. Over the past year, the accounts received over 6.9 million views, 43,600 likes, 1,400 comments, and more than 7,100 shares.

At the top of the overall ranking were Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and the Higher School of Economics.
