The RAEX Rating Review examines 249 Russian universities, only 78 of which were featured in the published list. IKBFU was ranked 28th in Nature and Mathematics and 51st in Engineering and Technology.
The aim of the rating is to promote the best higher education institutions. The Nature and Mathematics category includes such fields as maths, physics, chemistry, biology and fundamental Earth sciences. The Engineering and Technology category includes such disciplines as energy studies, construction, informatics and computer science, aviation engineering, robotics, and light industry.The evaluation criteria used by the RAEX Rating Review are — demand for graduates on the labour market, quality of education and level of research activity.
