IKBFU Representative Office in Bishkek Hosts Events for Professors and Students in Kyrgyzstan

The Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabayev has recently introduced a new professional training programme for Russian language teachers, called “Digital Technologies in Russian Language Teaching”. Throughout the course, participants will be introduced to a range of digital visualisation tools that can be used to create engaging and interactive teaching materials. Additionally, they will explore how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to enhance language learning outcomes and discover how to design and deliver interactive lessons using digital services. At the end of the programme, 30 Russian language teachers will receive professional development certificates.

Tatyana Tsvigun, Advisor to the Rectorate for Russian Language and Development of Humanitarian Education at IKBFU, delivered a lecture “Literature in the Digital Age: Neural Network as a New Author” for students and faculty of the KSU named after I. Arabayev. The attendees engaged in a lively discussion, sharing their thoughts on the topic.

Ksenia Skryabina, a specialist of the IKBFU International Office, held orientation meetings with applicants for the “IKBFU Rector’s Grant”, which allows students from Kyrgyzstan to participate in the academic exchange programme.

Academic exchanges between IKBFU and KSU have become popular since 2022, when the universities signed a cooperation agreement. The most popular educational programme among students from Kyrgyzstan is “Russian Language and Literature”.

KSU Rector Aigul Abdrabayeva noted that in the coming year a joint double degree programme in pedagogy, psychology and Russian studies will be developed and launched on the basis of the representative office.

	The IKBFU representative office was established in 2023 with the aim of promoting Russian language and culture, facilitating joint scientific and educational initiatives, and fostering intercultural exchange. With the support of Kyrgyz State University, we aspire to create academic prospects for students and professors from both nations.
