IKBFU Representatives at the BRICS Universities Rectors Forum

Anna Budarina, Head of the Institute of Education and The Humanities, and Daria Gerber, Director of the IKBFU International Office, took part in the BRICS Universities Rectors Forum, held on 17–18 October at Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The forum included a presentation on the collaborative efforts between IKBFU and BRICS countries in promoting Russian education, as well as the work of Russian cultural centres and representative offices. Foreign experts gave positive feedback on the promotion of Russian pedagogy, culture, language, and educational programs, particularly in the fields of education and linguistics. Special attention was given to creating an international student environment and developing interdisciplinary research groups, which would allow students to participate in world-class international projects. During the discussions, preliminary agreements were made to establish partnerships with several universities in India and Brazil, focusing on education and psychology, as well as to collaborate with the Maurice Thorez Institute of Foreign Languages on linguistic education projects.
