The monograph co-authored by Andrei Tarasov (Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Pediatrics and Preventive Medicine, IKBFU) and Rofail Rakhmanov (Professor at the Hygiene Department at Privolzhsky Research Medical University, Nizhny Novgorod) has been published by Springer Nature, one of the largest international academic publishers.

One of the main contributors to present national growth is the active development of the Far North, Far East, and Arctic territories. One’s relocation to these regions will be accompanied by a strain of the organism’s regulatory mechanisms due to the processes of biological and psychological adaptation to new social conditions and habitat. This can lead to the development of prenosological conditions, increase in morbidity, decrease in professional competence and performance. Therefore, the study of human adaptation and prevention of disorders associated with the process is needed in the globally changing climate conditions. |
