Daria Gerber, Director of International Office: |
Strengthening cooperation with Indian universities is of paramount importance to the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. We have already established a strong academic presence in medical education, currently hosting over 500 Indian medical students. In recent years, we have taken significant strides in expanding this collaboration into the humanities, particularly in Russian language studies and pedagogy. The rapid and successful development of these initiatives is exemplified by our partnership with Sharda University. This collaboration, which already has a foundation of previous joint initiatives, is now set to reach new heights. We have ambitious plans that will undoubtedly yield significant benefits for both our students and the broader academic communities in Russia and India. |
Anna Budarina, Head of the Institute of Education and The Humanities: |
The leadership of Sharda University has expressed a strong commitment to elevating our cooperation to a new level. Vice Chancellor Professor Sibaram Khara has already confirmed his intention to attend our Pedagogical Congress in April and to co-organize the next iteration of the Congress in the coming year. This new memorandum aligns with our university’s broader strategy of advancing the internationalization of pedagogical and humanities education and promoting Russian education and culture on the global stage. We eagerly anticipate further fruitful collaboration and look forward to organizing mutually enriching academic exchanges for both students and faculty. |
