The Teckshol startup team manufactured samples of t-shirts with a cooling effect. According to the tech entrepreneurs, the textiles will be of particular interest to athletes and enterprises where there is a need to wear protective clothing.
The cloth keeps the wearer cool when air temperature rises and protects against ultraviolet light, and has antibacterial properties to prevent unpleasant odour after intense workouts. The samples also have an embedded NFC tag, which can be used to visit the startup’s website and learn more about the technology.
Boris Pryadeznikov, General Director of LLC “Teckshol”, researcher at the IKBFU Research Centre “Polymer and Composite Materials “SmartTextiles”: |
Clothing made of cooling fabric has enhanced heat dissipation and provides excellent thermoregulation in hot conditions. |
The first batch consists of 15 black t-shirts with the company logo. The development team, Boris Pryadeznikov and technologist Alexey Shulgin, began product testing.
The Teckshol startup was created under the Student Startup programme of the Innovation Promotion Foundation and is implemented on the basis of IKBFU Research Centre “Polymer and Composite Materials “SmartTextiles” with the support of the IKBFU Startup Studio.
