The IKBFU Startup Studio has launched “TexHol”, a company dedicated to the development of composite fibres and textiles with heat-absorbing properties. The product will be used in medicine, high-performance sports, and in the production of workwear.
Boris Pryadeznikov, Head of TexHol |
Conventional solutions achieve thermoregulation only under specific conditions, typically activating at a set temperature and lasting for a finite duration. Our approach provides prolonged passive thermoregulation and enhanced performance characteristics for textile materials. |
Olga Molokanova, Project Supervisor, Head of the Laboratory of Polymer and Composite Materials “Smart Textiles” |
Extensive collaboration with the textile industry informed the development of a product that meets market needs. With the grant and Startup Studio’s support, the development and commercialisation stages of passive thermoregulation textiles are set to proceed seamlessly and swiftly. Following the Minimal Viable Product (MVP) stage, we plan to apply for a patent and seek further support from the Innovation Promotion Fund. We are confident that our product will attract interest from both science and business. |
