IKBFU Students Volunteer at 10th Russian-Chinese Youth Games

Students from Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University are regularly involved in regional, national and international events. The 10th Russian-Chinese Youth Games, held in Kaliningrad from 25 to 30 May 2026, provided new professional experience for students from the Higher School of Spatial Development and Hospitality, who joined the event as volunteers.

Ahead of the Games, the students attended a training session on the role of high-quality service in organising international-level events. The Games gave students a real-world opportunity to apply their professional skills to a major project.

Participation in the Games provided students with an exceptional opportunity to apply skills developed through our project‑based approach. Volunteering at this level is a masterclass in professional service. And because knowledge should be shared, we held a meeting afterwards so other students could hear their stories first‑hand. As a member of the Russian‑Chinese Association of Tourism and Hospitality Universities since 2025, IKBFU is committed to setting new standards for hospitality training in both Russia and China.

The Sino-Russian Tourism University Alliance was founded in Beijing in November 2024. It serves as an educational and scientific platform for Russian and Chinese universities offering tourism and hospitality programmes. The Alliance focuses on international joint projects, improving operational efficiency, exchanging best practices, and promoting academic mobility.
