Students of the Higher School of Medicine of Kantiana showed excellent results at the VI International Olympiad of medical university students “Samarkand-2020”. Large-scale international event brought together young scientists, students and teachers from all over the world, providing a unique platform for sharing knowledge, experience and innovative ideas.
In the Olympiad participated more than 1000 students and young scientists who fought for victory in competitive tours in various medical disciplines, participated in the contest of young scientists and demonstrated their start-up projects.
The event included presentations in Russian, Uzbek and English on various topics: therapy, surgery, microbiology, pharmacology, oncology, pathological physiology, ophthalmology, dentistry, laboratory diagnostics, Modern technology and artificial intelligence in medicine and many other things.
Student of the 6th year of HSM BFU Evgenya Tolmacheva received the diploma of the Olympics first degree. The 5th year student Vladislav Feshchenko took the third place in the direction “Histology, cytology, embryology”.
