Thirty-six students successfully completed an intensive introductory Russian language course at the IKBFU Centre for Russian Pedagogy in Ludhiana (India). For three weeks, Partap College students and faculty learned the language and experienced the culture and traditions of Russia.
The participants improved their speaking and listening skills, mastering grammar and expanding their vocabulary.

The innovative teaching methods and individualised approach significantly enhanced our understanding of the Russian language and culture. On behalf of all the participants, I would like to say that the Russian language intensive was an enlightening journey for us all. This experience has undoubtedly broadened our horizons, leaving us with unforgettable memories. |
Ekaterina Agulnik, Russian as a Foreign Language Teacher: |
It felt as though we were the characters in a Russian-Indian educational sitcom, with each lesson adding another episode to our lively, sincere, and humorous journey. I am looking forward to the release of the second season! |
Daria Gerber, Director of the International Office: |
Cooperation with Partap College of Education is of special importance for us; in February 2024, we established the IKBFU Centre for Russian Pedagogy at the Partap College of Education. The Centre plays a crucial role in promoting the rich heritage of Russian pedagogical traditions, popularising the Russian language and culture in India, and fostering the exchange of knowledge and expertise between our countries. We are grateful to our partners and look forward to organising many more such events and programs at the Centre. |
