Nina A. Dmitrieva, Research Director of the Academia Kantiana, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University; Professor of Philosophy, Moscow Pedagogical State University, moderated the event. She noted the high standard of the speakers and the professional community’s interest in their respective topics: |
Kant is fascinating because each century understands him differently. On the one hand, virtually every generation tries to find the authentic Kant. On the other hand, every generation uses his teachings to address newly emerging problems. There’s enough unexplored Kant to last us the next three hundred years. |
Nina Dmitrieva also emphasised the broad presence of foreign scholars at the Congress, who either came to Kaliningrad or presented their topics online.
