Students and young scientists of the IKBFU represented the University at the XXX International Pirogov Scientific Medical Conference. A large-scale event which brought together young researchers from all over Russia and abroad, took place in Moscow at the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University on March 19.
The jury highly appreciated the team of students — Akhilan Ajay Akhilan, Vanki Chinmai and Shahid Anika. In the section "Oncology, Diagnostics and Therapy of Oncological Diseases" their poster report was awarded the diploma of the first degree. The researchers focused on the most urgent problem of modern medicine — the early diagnosis of malignant neoplasms. The presented work was devoted to the development of an innovative approach to the detection of tumors based on the study of the metabolic profile. "The metabolic profile of pan-cancer: a multi-enzyme diagnostic system for universal tumor detection" is the topic of the project, which aroused great interest among specialists and conference participants. The proposed concept involves the creation of a universal diagnostic platform capable of detecting a wide range of oncological diseases at an early stage.
The winners were trained under the guidance of an experienced mentor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Aliya Turdieva.
| The report of our students turned out to be very interesting for the professional community: the students were invited to take part in a number of other major conferences. This is not only a recognition of their personal success, but also a confirmation of the high relevance of the conducted research. The University has once again shown a high level of student training and significant scientific potential in the field of biomedical research, |
