Thousands of Applicants are Enrolling at IKBFU

More than 32,000 applications have been submitted to IKBFU since the start of the admission campaign. The number of applicants wishing to study at the IKBFU has increased by 16% compared to last year at the same date. The number of international applicants, among whom are citizens of Central, East and South Asia, Latin America and Africa, increased by almost 30% compared to last year.

A record number of applications have been received this year from applicants from India, some of whom have already successfully passed the entrance examinations and are preparing for admission to the university.

For the second year the university graduates specialists in the direction of “General Medicine” in English. These students have the first-hand experience of studiying at the University.

One of 2024’s graduates Narode Shraddha came to IKBFU from India to pursue a degree in Medicine. In her opinion, coming to the IKBFU was one of the best decisions she made together with her family:

I have a friend who was in Russia, in Kaliningrad, and she said that IKBFU is the best federal university. I've studied General Medicine for 6 years. Of course, sometimes it was not easy because, well, it's medicine, but it was very exciting. Moreover, everyone always helped us a lot. The people here are very kind. Also, when I was in practice at the hospital, Russians were very cordial if they were treated by a foreign doctor. In general, Russia is one of the safest countries. I feel very comfortable and relaxed here. Russians are very positive, kind and they love the people of India. They were so pleased when we came to give them medical help. I've also tried soda for the first time here! It is so delicious! We used to buy it all the time. Within a month I plan to return home to India, as I haven't seen my family for a long time and I miss them. When I return, I am thinking of becoming a pediatric surgeon

My parents helped me with the choice of university. There are state universities and federal universities in Russia. I've chosen the federal one and the best one — IKBFU. The level of education here is very good, the professors helped us with everything. Russian was hard to learn, but I've learnt it a little anyway, so that I could communicate with Russians. The people here are incredibly kind. Graduation is a long-awaited and joyful event for me. Afterwards I plan to return to India and continue my studies
