The dormitory is one of the most important facilities of the new campus. We will do our best to open it as soon as possible — in 2025. With thousands of students from across the globe joining the University annually, this large facility will offer accommodation alongside the existing dormitories. |
The new campus is currently 32% completed. One of the largest construction projects in the region involves 1.5 thousand workers and 22 equipment units.

The construction of the Kantiana campus as part of the “Science and Universities” national project is one of the key factors in the dynamic development of the University and the region. Today we pay special attention to the content of future spaces, and are actively working with technological partners. R&D-centres and laboratories will be located here in the key fields for the Kaliningrad region: medicine, engineering, chemistry, electric transport. |
The Kantiana campus will house the Institute of Medicine and Life Sciences, the Institute of High Technology and the Higher School of Philosophy, History and Social Sciences. Two comfortable dormitories for up to 2,500 students will be built on the campus, and coworking spaces will be organised for study, creative and social projects. In addition, there will be a park area, as well as a commercial street with cafes, shops, and banks.
Two buildings at 14 Nevsky St. — the IKBFU-Expo and the multifunctional centre — will be put in use by the end of 2024. The construction of the campus is planned to be completed in 2025.
