On the 27th of December, new communal spaces were opened to IKBFU students.
The Educational Building No.7 on Frunze Street now boasts a 150 square metre student space that serves as the perfect hub for professional development, study, and relaxation. The space was brought to life thanks to the efforts of Elizaveta Borovik, a 4th year student of the Higher School of Law, who proposed the idea during the Grant Competition. The Student Council of the Higher School of Law was instrumental in bringing the project to fruition.
Now that we no longer have to huddle in the hallways, the comfortable and roomy new space is sure to strengthen the community of law students. |
In addition, today the Rector presented the renovated Studhouse. The ground floor is now twice as spacious: the co-working area has been expanded, new conference rooms have been established, and new furniture has been installed. Additionally, a dining area has been added, and a storage space has been allocated for student activities.

The Studhaus facade has undergone a stunning transformation with the addition of new graffiti. The second staircase is now in use. The interior of the Studhaus is full of vibrant colours and intricate details, with ample space for students to add their own design solutions.
Looking ahead to next year, the main student space will be accessible 24/7, and there are plans to enhance the surrounding area by constructing a summer co-working space on the street and on the roof of the Studhaus, while continuing to work on murals of the block. |
