Alexander Fedorov, IKBFU Rector: |
|
You have begun a 10-day program here at your second home, Russia, and will experience our University and its rapid development. IKBFU is not only building a modern neocampus with an area of 110 thousand square metres, but is also improving from within. Currently the University is home to almost 13 thousand students, including 1400 international students from 51 countries. I am delighted to welcome our new partners from Namibia and Zimbabwe, and hope this marks the beginning of a strong and lasting collaboration. I encourage you to return to Russia and Kaliningrad many more times, and would like to thank you for being worthy ambassadors of Russian education. |
The Rector presented the educators with an overview of the neocampus project, educational programmes, and infrastructure. In addition, plans for further cooperation were discussed.
The Russian as a Foreign Language intensive for educators from Namibia and Zimbabwe will be held until the 28th of June.
