Researcher-molecular Pathophysiologist Maria Bograya Attended the Meeting of the President of the Russian Federation

IKBFU Graduate Maria Bograya took part in the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with participants of the V Congress of Young Scientists — a key event of the Decade of Science and Technology. Congress is the largest platform for dialogue between advanced and fundamental science, state power and the real sector of the economy and sets the main vectors of scientific and technological development.
The event was held at Sirius University of Science and Technology. The participants of the event — young researchers from all over the country — discussed with the Head of State and representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education the current agenda of youth research policy. During the meeting, Maria asked a question related to the professional trajectory of young scientists.

Maria Bograya is the laureate of the Presidential Scholarship for Graduate and Adjunct 2025. Within the framework of the meeting, the researcher presented a poster report on the subject of the candidate’s dissertation "MikroRNA-regulation of the AGE/RAGE axis in blood monocytes with diabetes mellitus type II". Maria is searching for target molecules that can be used to diagnose and treat a serious disease like diabetes mellitus. Scientific Director of the study, MD Larisa Litvinova. The report attracted interest from members of the congress who specialize in endocrinology and immunology.
