IKBFU employees took part in the first Congress of users of the Center of collective use “Siberian Circular Photon Source”. The Congress has become a broad discussion platform, a point of contact between representatives of “SCPC”, developers of unique scientific equipment and future users from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.
More than 180 plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations were presented at the congress on topics related to equipment for “SCPC” stations, theoretical and applied aspects of experimental methods, new data processing algorithms, the structure of catalysts and functional materials, as well as the application of synchrotron radiation in structural biology.
Dmitry Zverev and Alexander Barannikov presented the current results of Intersectoral Research and Information Center in the field of modern X-ray optics.
| Dmitry Zverev, Research Fellow of the group of applied X-ray optical studies and X-ray microscopy of IKBFU: |
| My report covered 30 years of «in-line coherent X-ray optics». Our team has been developing this direction for 10 years, based on the work of the scientific director Anatoly Snygiev, who was at the origin of creating refractive optics during the launch of ESRF in France in 1995. Today, using the accumulated experience and unique developments, we have provided two synchrotron stations of CCU “SCPC”with refracting X-ray lenses and transponders. Of course, this is the basis for the practical application and development of coherent X-ray research methods at these stations. |
