Round University Ranking Results: IKBFU Rises by 170 Positions Over One Year

According to the international Round University Ranking (RUR), IKBFU ranks 525th among global universities and 13th among Russian ones. This represents a significant improvement of 170 positions over the past year. A total of 1169 universities from 89 countries, including 131 Russian universities, were included in the ranking.

Over the past year IKBFU has managed to improve its position in all key areas. We rank 11th in Russia in teaching, 15th in research, 21st in international diversity and 35th in financial sustainability. We have become prominent and influential in several federal projects: the higher education reform, the Priority 2030 programme, and the construction of the world-class Kantiana campus. These involvements position IKBFU as a key driver of regional development and solidify its role as the leading scientific and educational centre in the Northwest region.
