Defense of the PhD thesis of Irina Loseva, devoted to the analysis of linguistic means of representation of the moderation of desirability in the lyric of Joseph Brodsky, — a vivid example of the development of traditions of the Kaliningrad school of moderacy, founded by professor Svetlana Sergeevna Vaulina (1945-2024). The The PhD student's supervisor was Natalya Babenko, a Doctor of Philology and Professor at the Higher School of Education and Humanities.
| The main purpose of the study was a synthetic description of the "laws" of lyrics as a subjective kind of literature and creative attitudes of Joseph Brodsky. I think that the results of the work may be important for linguists studying modality in aspects of functional grammar and linguopoetics, |
| Irina Loseva emphasized. |
