Nargisa Borkunova, a second-year master’s degree in “Philology” (program “Russian as a foreign language and management of international projects”), was the finalist of the prestigious federal competition “Masters of the Russian language”, which is carried out by the Russian Cooperation together with the Moscow State Linguistic University. As a result of the participation in the competition, a student of our university received an invitation to an internship from the Russian Culture and Science Center in Alexandria (Egypt).
She conducted classes for students of Abu Kir University, studying Russian language on the basis of the Russian House, took part in cultural and educational events, was a guest speaker of the international action “Great ethnographic dictation”. As a result of the internship, the leadership of the Russian Center for Culture and Science in Alexandria expressed appreciation to the student for her contribution to strengthening friendly educational and cultural ties between Russia and Egypt. The community of students and their teachers — Egyptian Russianists — thanked our student for interesting classes and exchange of methodological experience.
