Sber and IKBFU Signed a Memorandum on Joint AI Research

IKBFU and Sber (former Sberbank, one of the biggest Russian banks) signed a document allowing the two organizations to start joint research on artificial intelligence (AI). The goal of the agreement is to improve cooperation between the experts in the sphere, make AI-related technologies more accessible for enterprises of the region and thus benefit the economy of Kaliningrad.

Maxim Eremenko, Director of the Sber Department of AI and Machine Learning:
Partnering with the region’s leading university is yet another important step in digitalization of the national economy. Sber has been developing AI technologies in various Russian regions for many years and we plan on improving our efforts. I am sure that cooperation with IKBFU will help facilitating our research.
