Even though I am now retired, I continue to work and continue to be a lifelong learner. A teacher learns as long as they live! I have been to Russia several times for different competitions. I was very happy to be invited to this beautiful city, Kaliningrad. Seeing the Baltic Sea for the second time in my life is an inexpressible feeling. I thank the organisers and salute all the students of this temple of science. |

Marine Poghosyan, a teacher of the Papin Kandilyan Gavar Secondary School No.2, Armenia, became the winner in the “Methodological Mastery” category. She was the youngest teacher at the Olympiad.
These were some of the most memorable days in our lives because right from the very first instant there was a sense of security, cosiness and love. We became a part of this kind and beautiful world. We are all united by our love of the Russian language and wish to explore Russia from a new perspective each time we visit. Each city has its own Russian soul and culture. If you are a Russian language teacher, you should know as much about Russia as possible to encourage your students to love and learn the language. Thank you to the organisers for the opportunity to see Kaliningrad, meet fellow teachers and feel this joy! |
Vietnamese educator Luu Thi Nam Ha, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, visited Kaliningrad for the first time.
I have been to many cities in Russia, but this was my first time in Kaliningrad. I am very impressed! Here different cultures are mixed together, preserving a unique atmosphere. It is both a very modern and very historical region. For me, the Olympiad was not an exam, but a holiday where we shared our knowledge and experience with colleagues. In this way, we are professionally enriched. Back home, I work with students and pupils who are learning Russian from the very beginning. I always strive to tell them how beautiful Russia is! |
