On January 23, the International Winter School for Physical Education was officially concluded at IKBFU.
Within the framework of the programme, students from the Ocean University of China (a partner institution of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University) visited the Higher School of Sports, as well as modern sports facilities of the University and the Kaliningrad Region. In addition, the Winter School participants toured the Wallenrod Library, the Aviation Training Centre, and attended a Lokomotiv volleyball club game.
Chinese students professionally engaged in various sports — volleyball, basketball, taekwondo, discus throw and sailing — trained alongside Russian athletes. The activities facilitated the experience exchange and allowed the participants to immerse themselves in Russian culture, learn about the country's traditions and customs.

| This has been a very special week for us and I hope we have met all your expectations. You immersed yourself in the Higher School of Sports learning environment, experienced the University and its various facilities, and discovered the beautiful city and region of Kaliningrad. I would like to thank all the students for their active participation in the Winter School, as well as the educators of the Ocean University of China and the Dean of the Faculty for their support. This has been an important step in our cooperation and I am sure that new achievements are ahead of us. |

| Today is bittersweet. We don't want to say goodbye to our guests from China, but we are happy because this week has been full of wonderful events, especially on the eve of the Lunar New Year. We have learnt a lot about each other in these eight days and it is indeed a happy celebration. We are especially happy that participants from China were able to interact with our students. We thank our students for their help and support! |

| All activities were organised to perfection. Each student felt welcome. During this time, the participants got acquainted with the IKBFU sports infrastructure, visited Rostec Arena and watched a volleyball game. They didn’t just study, but experienced something unique. Not every student gets that chance. I would like to express my gratitude to all the professors, staff of the International Office and the Higher School of Sports for their efforts. We look forward to further cooperation between our educational institutions. |
At the closing ceremony, the Winter School participants received certificates or completion. The Chinese students expressed their sincere gratitude to the organisers and professors of IKBFU for the warm welcome and the opportunity to share knowledge and experience.
At the end of the event, students from the Ocean University shared their impressions of the Winter School, noting the significance of the experience and the desire to continue cooperation between the universities in the future. The event was an important step towards strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between young athletes of the two countries.

| I am very happy to have attended the Winter School. We visited sports facilities, the Wallenrodt Library and the Aviation Training Centre, learnt a lot about the University and teaching methods. I was happy to meet people from Russia, we had a wonderful time. We thank the students and teachers of IKBFU for their constant help and support.
