Maksim Demin, IKBFU Vice-Rector of Academics: |
We are delighted with and take pride in our school’s immense success. Each year the program changes its educational content, while at the same time always managing to remain involving for Russian and foreign students. It is extremely important for us that the students from IKBFU and other universities are given the rare and unique opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge within the IKBFU walls. I appreciate the heavy toil of administration and faculty who are with us for many years. |

Ekaterina Osipova, Director of the Summer School: |
The summer school has advanced – every year we introduce newly-developed courses and invite new professors whilst keeping the basic set of the courses, which traditionally successfully formed our programme over many years. To wit, the Head of Commercial Law division of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Professor Helena Abrossimova developed the course ‘How to Write Laws’ specifically for our summer school. This year the students divided into 3 teams will draft and then argue before the bench of professional persons 3 bills: on the use of AI, on digital security, and on euthanasia. Only in our summer school students can gain such hands-on skills of drafting bills. |

Demetrius A. Floudas, Deputy Director of the Summer School: |
The IKBFU summer school is one of the few academic programmes that exclusively focuses on enhancing the students’ professional and practical skills. And, what is even more important, amongst the summer schools with such a high academic level, this is one that provides students with the opportunity to learn from the best Russian and foreign professors. Within the auspices of our summer school, students acquire valuable connections with the participants from different cities and countries, alongside with personal and professional development. The IKBFU summer school is an academic bridge, whose importance is hard to overestimate, especially in the challenging times of today. |

Tatiana Volchetskaya, Director of IKBFU Scientific and Educational Centre for situationology and economic-legal regionalism: |
It is important that the summer school implements various scientific approaches, including situational approach, that has been developed by IKBFU scientists over many years. Here the students absorb communication, professional, applied, and research skills. I wish the students fruitful work, and, of course, pleasure from communication with each other and with the greatest professionals. |
