IKBFU was represented by Anna Budarina, Head of the Institute of Education and Humanities, and Ksenia Scriabina, Head of the Department of Internationalization and International Partnership.
The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by distinguished guests — Denis Alipov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India, and Yulia Aryaeva, Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India.
The foundations of mutual trust and understanding between Russia and India were laid long before the establishment of official diplomatic relations in 1947. Our documented ties date back to the 15th century and have been strengthened over time by the contributions of great thinkers such as Leo Tolstoy and Mahatma Gandhi. These deep civilizational and cultural ties, built on human connections, continue to define our relationship today. This solid foundation explains why our comprehensive partnership remains resilient in the face of global challenges and continues to serve as a pillar of stability in international affairs. Today, more than 30,000 Indian students are pursuing higher education in Russia, and this number is growing. Many of the students present in the hall can also continue their education in Russia, in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, or Kaliningrad,

The Memorandum of Understanding marked the beginning of close cooperation in several areas. We have already outlined joint projects and collaboration trajectories in the fields of pedagogical education, linguistics, and the humanities. This includes not only Chandigarh University, but also a number of other foreign universities that we were honored to meet and establish working contacts with during the forum,
Anna Budarina noted.
Anna Budarina also actively participated in the discussion panels on humanities education and scientific collaboration. A trilateral meeting with representatives of the Humanities Cluster at Chandigarh University and the Mariano Marcos State University (Philippines) was particularly significant. As a result, a number of joint projects were outlined, including trilateral collaboration programs.
During the university presentations session, Ksenia Skryabina presented the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. She spoke about the university's extensive experience in organizing summer schools, which cover topics ranging from Russian language studies to compositional materials, as well as the conditions for implementing academic mobility programs and the extensive construction of the Kantiana campus.
