The first two buildings of the Kantiana modern world-class neocampus have now been completed.
One of the buildings will house a Multifunctional Centre for University staff and students. The other building — BFU Expo — will serve as a venue for public lectures, presentations and meetings. The latter is already in use as part of the International Kant Congress.
BFU Expo displays mock-ups of the Kantiana neocampus, the unique future library space, as well as a diorama "Nikolai Karamzin at Immanuel Kant's house in Koenigsberg. 7 (18) June 1789". The work reflects the visit of the Russian nobleman to the philosopher, recreating a fragment of the street where Immanuel Kant lived.
At present, 6 campus buildings are under construction, planned to be equipped with the state-of-the-art educational and laboratory equipment.
