The graduation ceremony for IKBFU students took place at the Königsberg Cathedral on 5th July 2023, lasting throughout the day. A total of 1490 graduates received Bachelor’s and Master's diplomas, with 535 achieving honours. Additionally, 603 graduates received diplomas of vocational education, including 51 with honours. Furthermore, 53 graduated from PhD programs. This year saw a remarkable increase in the number of foreign graduates, with 152 students from 27 different countries, such as India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Lithuania, France, China, Morocco, Iraq, Belarus, Brazil, and others.
IKBFU is the only Russian university to hold its graduation ceremony in a 14th-century cathedral accompanied by the music of a one-of-a-kind organ, the largest in Russia.
The diplomas were awarded by Institute heads, and leading employers of the Kaliningrad region: heads of businesses, organisations, municipalities, and government bodies.
