Over 500 students and professors from the Institute of Education and The Humanities gathered to honour and celebrate teachers, university professors, educators, and those involved in the noble profession of teaching.
Alexander Fedorov, IKBFU Rector: |
I wish to extend my congratulations to colleagues at the Baltic Federal University and the entire educational community of the Kaliningrad region!
I hope that you maintain the creative energy to achieve new accomplishments, and gain new knowledge through research, education, and project work. The personal and professional development of children and teenagers depends on the wisdom, patience, dedication of teachers, and, most importantly, on the example that each of us sets. Dear colleagues and students, I wish you all the best. Love your work, face challenges, find inspiration, and responsibly shape the future of the country for the next generations. |
Anna Budarina, Head of the Institute of Education and The Humanities: |
Today we celebrate World Teachers' Day. We have the privilege of enjoying two holidays annually — today, and on the birthday of our University patron Immanuel Kant, where we demonstrate our commitment to the humanities at ther yearly international congress. Colleagues, let us not forget our teachers, those who shaped our personal and professional growth. Nowadays, teachers must be prepared for constant changes, possess the ability to handle difficulty, exhibit persistence, and predict possible outcomes. I wish all teachers and students creative inspiration, the joy of sincere appreciation for your hard work, and the strength to contribute to the well-being of humanity. |
Following the tradition, first-year students organised over 20 creative performances, senior student mentors held a flash mob; Egor Kolchak, a student of the Higher School of Philosophy, History and Social Sciences, amazed the audience with his violin skills.
The university partners extended their congratulations to our professors and students on their professional holiday. Alena Parakhina, a student from the Choral Conducting Department at the Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Regional Music College, sang; cadets from the Baltic Higher Naval School showcased an African dance and a musical performance.
At the ceremony, letters of gratitude from the Minister of the Kaliningrad region were awarded to the following teachers of the Institute of Education and The Humanities: Alina Bondareva, Anastasia Vornovskaya, Ilya Dementiev, Anastasia Krysanova, Yulia Mirkina, Maria Mitskevich, Valeria Pasevina, Olga Rozhkova, Tsirma Sanzhieva, Natalia Suvorova, Alina Solodovnik, Evgenia Fonova and Elizaveta Shevchenko.
Students Veronika Anashkina, Ekaterina Belousova, Polina Vladimirova, Oleg Denisov, Ksenia Kvachko, Polina Nikulina, Maria Troshkina and Ksenia Tsaplina also received letters of gratitude from the Institute Head Anna Budarina for their achievements in professional and creative activities.
