Student dormitories complex

Dormitories are provided to students of the main educational programs of secondary and higher full-time education for the entire period of study and students of the preparatory department of IKBFU

First-year students are accommodated on the basis of the vacant places number in each dormitory and the rating, which is formed in accordance with the sum of USE scores with which the applicant was enrolled in the university. Special categories of students are obligatory for accommodation, with a separate quota for international students. The order of accommodation can be found in the IKBFU Dormitory Regulations. According to these Regulations, students who do not have a place of permanent residence in Kaliningrad and adjacent settlements, as a rule, remote at least 60 km, have the right to receive a place in a dormitory

The complex of student dormitories was created to improve the quality of work on organizing the dormitories activities and is ruled by the university administration, represented by the Vice-Rector for Infrastructure Development. The IKBFU student dormitories complex includes 13 dormitories of various types (corridor, block and apartment). The distribution of dormitories among students takes place in accordance with the order of the rector

The dormitories of IKBFU fall into three categories:

CORRIDOR

Study bedrooms in the dormitories of this category are for double or triple occupancy. The facilities are shared: all the rooms on each floor have common kitchen areas and restrooms; common shower rooms are located on the ground floor. The dormitories are provided with Wi-Fi and fitted with laundry facilities, areas for sports activities and lounge areas.

The dormitories of this type are located on 23, General Sommer St., 3, Tchernyshevskogo Lane, 51, Alexander Nevsky St., 3, Azovskaya St., 56, Tchaikovsky St.

BLOCK

All study bedrooms are for double or triple occupancy. The facilities are shared: bedrooms belonging to the same unit have a common kitchen area, restroom and shower room. The dormitory is provided with Wi-Fi and fitted with laundry facilities, area for sports activities and lounge areas.

APARTMENT

All flats are for double or triple occupancy. Each flat has a fitted kitchen and bathroom. The dormitories are provided with Wi-Fi and fitted with laundry facilities.
