International office

This is the center of international life of the university

International activities of IKBFU are carried out by the following structural divisions: Department of Internationalization and International Partnership, International Student Office, Visa and Migration Support Center.

One of the important goals of the International Office of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University is to excite an interest in the Russian education system in the Baltic Sea region. Our main task is to organize and manage the international activities of the university, its students, postgraduates, staff, and faculty. International activities are not limited to academic and scientific exchange programs or the organization of visits by foreign delegations. We initiate and organize a wide range of international events: from international conferences and youth festivals to international summer schools and language clubs.

Division for Internationalisation and International Partnership

The mission of the Division is to broaden the academic experience of students and academic staff by providing extensive knowledge and expertise on international activities. The Division implements a number of international programmes and projects; works on and holds events in consortia with IKBFU partner universities while creating the most comfortable studying and staying conditions for Russian and international students and staff.

In order to improve the learning process and integrate into the international educational environment, we provide students and personnel with assistance in the execution and certification of translations of documents (into and from English, German and Chinese).
