Deputy Head for Development and Project Activities of the “Institute of Education and Humanities” – Olesya Parakhina, took part in the III International Scientific and Practical Conference on STEM-education at the University Ibn Khaldun (Istanbul, Turkey).
The event brought together leading researchers in the field of STEM-education from Turkey, the USA, Uzbekistan, Israel, Slovenia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Colleagues presented the experience of implementing STEM-education in their countries, discussed the widest range of issues that involve consideration on the basis of STEM-projects in various subject objects, the development of an educational environment, and the training of teachers for the implementation of STEM-education.
Olesya Parakhina presented a report on the topic «STEAM-approach in the context of neurosciences».
The conference included an exhibition of the best STEM-products for use in the educational process «Best STEM Education Awards», as well as a series of master classes on programming, drawing and implementing social projects for schoolchildren.

The trip took place as part of the implementation of the “Priority 2030” program.
