IKBFU Students Presented Reports at the International Parasitological Symposium

Graduate student of the Higher School of Living Systems Evgeny Volchev and student of the Higher School of Medicine Ekaterina Krasikova made reports at the IV Symposium «Modern Problems of General and Private Parasitology». The event was held at the St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine in December 2022.

Ekaterina was awarded a diploma for superb presentation of the report.

Evgeniy Volchev:

Me and my colleagues had a very fruitful discussion at the Symposium. I would especially like to note the research material presented by our colleagues on mite populations in the Northwestern Federal District. The material presented by our working group aroused the interest of our colleagues from various Russian regions, who also deal with the problems of tick-borne transmissible infections. We answered questions not only in the course of the report, but on the sidelines as well. We hope that new contacts established between us and the specialists will enrich our work

It should be noted that Alina Volcheva, a student from the Center for Development of Modern Competences for Children at Kant Baltic Federal University, took an active part in the study.
