From 24 May to 7 June, the annual Russian Language and Culture Marathon took place at IKBFU. The event culminated in a grand celebration of the 225th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin, Russia's outstanding poet.
The marathon offered a diverse range of activities, showcasing Russian language and culture. International students took part in a Pushkin-themed quiz and visited the Museum of Soviet Childhood, where they discussed the famous poet’s fairytales.
The marathon concluded on June 7th with a celebration joined by cadets from Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University. The evening opened with an interactive quiz on Russian culture and culminated with a poetry reading.
Students from the partner university also took part, performing at the official IKBFU representative office on the basis of Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabayev.
The event concluded with a workshop on traditional Russian folk dance.
